Digitools Project Pilot Implementation was Completed

Digitools Project pilot implementation process was completed with the participation of Science, English and Mathematics teachers. “Digitools Project Platform” and project results were introduced in an online information meeting held on May 2, 2023 with the participation of teachers from different schools. Information about the pilot implementation process was given. Then, the participants were asked to access the project platform within 2 months and use the Digitools tasks prepared for Science, English and Mathematics lessons with their students. In addition, they were also asked to make use of the “Assessment and Evaluation Compass” and “Teachers As Mentors Guidebook” as supporting materials for their lessons. At the end of the process, the implementation process was completed by receiving feedback from the teachers.

In the next phase of the project, focus group interviews with school administrators, experts, teachers and parents are planned to be held for the “White Paper: Recommendations for
Capacity Building in Digital Education”.

The main objective of Digitools Project (2020-1-TR01-KA226-SCH-098485) is to contribute to the development of digital competencies of all stakeholders of education – students, parents, administrators, especially teachers – in the process of digitalization in education, which has gained more importance with the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the project is supported by the European Commission through the Turkish National Agency. Governorship of İstanbul is the coordinating institution of the project.
